JHAL MURI(MAMRA/PUFFED RICE)

  JHAL MURI(MAMRA/PUFFED RICE)
                          (Serves 2)

Jhal Muri is one of the most famous Bengali street snack. This is one of the popular through out the India too. Stir Fried Spicy Masala Muri (Mamra)/Spicy Masala Puffed Rice (Traditionally plain white muri/mamra used and couple of teaspoons of Mustard oil is added to mix all spices) is mixed with raw salad vegetables (tomato, onion, cucumber, carrot or any other vegetables like mango, green/red/yellow/orange bell pepper) and boiled sprout beans, boiled potatoes, kala chana, coriander, green chili and dry spices.
It keeps you fuller longer then having spicy mamra alone and jhal muri is very healthy too.
