LADOO FROM LEFTOVER BHAKHRI

  LADOO FROM LEFTOVER BHAKHRI
                                            (Yield: 4 Lemon size ladoo)

Bhakhri Ladoo is quick and easy way of making ladoo to satisfy sweet tooth and at the same time making good use of leftover bhakhri. Made with ghee added to bhakhri churma/powder and sweetened and flavored with cardamom powder and press into small balls.

INGREDIENTS:
·      2 Bhakhri, leftover
·      ½ cup Granulated White Sugar or as per taste
·      ¼ cup to 1/3 cup Melted Ghee use as needed, to form ladoo shape
·      ¼ tsp. Cardamom Powder
·      1 to 1 ½ T Milk or as needed, to form ladoo shape

LET’S PREPARE:
Break bhakhri into small pieces with hand and then blend in small blender jar until coarse to fine powder forms, do it in few batches and keep sifting it. (I use Magic Bullet with small blander jar)
Combine all remaining big chunks and blend them until churma consistency coarse to fine powder forms.
Add sugar and cardamom powder and mix with churma mixture.
Add ghee little at a time and keep mixing with the churma mixture.
Sprinkle one-teaspoon milk at a time till mixture forms ladoo shape when pressed between palms. Roll lightly between palms to make smooth round ladoo.
Enjoy…

NOTE:
Roll ladoo in poppy seeds (Khas Khas). Personally I do not like poppy seeds coated ladoo so I skipped it.

VARIATION:
Add Coconut Powder.
Add Jaggery instead of sugar.
