GUACAMOLE (FOR MEXICAN DISHES)


                    GUACAMOLE

INGREDIENTS FOR THE BASIC GUACAMOLE:
·      1 large Ripe Avocado (Hass Avocado)
·      1/3 cup Tomato, diced
·      1 T Lemon Juice
·      1/8 tsp. Black Pepper Powder
·      Salt as per taste

INGREDIENTS FOR ONION & GARLIC FLAVOR GUACAMOLE: (AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE)
·      BASIC GUACAMOLE +
·      1/3 cup Purple Onion, diced
·      1 tsp. Garlic. Minced
·      ½ jalapeno pepper or Serrano Pepper or as per taste
·      2 Green Chilies or as per taste, chopped
·      1 T Coriander, chopped
·      2 tsp. Sour Cream
Add above ingredients to basic guacamole and mix well.

INGREDIENTS FOR FIRE ROASTED CORN GUACAMOLE:
·      BASIC GUACAMOLE +
·      Add fire-roasted corn kernels

INGREDIENTS FOR THE GRILLED PINEAPPLE GUACAMOLE:
·      BASIC GUACAMOLE +
·      Add grilled pineapple chunks


LET’S PREPARE:
Slice the avocado into halves, remove the seed and scoop the flash out with spoon.
Mash avocado by pressing down on it repeatedly with the back of a fork to smooth paste leaving some chunks and pour lemon juice over it to prevent browning.
Add all remaining ingredients and mix well and prepare basic guacamole.
Prepare guacamole of your choice by adding particular ingredients to the basic guacamole.

Use Guacamole to prepare layer dip
Serve with corn chips.
Guacamole goes best with all Mexican dishes.
Use as a spread on wraps.
Serve guacamole in the empty avocado shells to give unique look.
