RABDI FALOODA DRINK

                                    
                               RABDI FALOODA DRINK
                                                              (Serves 1)

Rabdi Falooda drink is a sweet; cardamom flavored reduced milk drink, layered with falooda noodles and basil seeds and topped with rose and vanilla ice cream. It is great to serve after a meal, especially on hot Indian summer days.

INGREDIENTS:
·      ½ tsp. Basil Seeds/Takmaria/Sabza/Bapsa
·      10 gram Glass Noodles, cut them into 1 ½” size with scissor (Use 1/5 Th portion from 50 gm. Glass Noodle packet)
·      1 tsp. Rose Syrup
·      Saffron, Cardamom Rabdi/Basundi as needed
·      1 Scoop of Rose Ice cream
·      1 Scoop of Vanilla Ice cream

LET’S PREPARE:
(1) Prepare Saffron, Cardamom Rabdi/Basundi.
(2) Soak ½ tsp. Basil Seeds in ¼ cup water for 2 hours. It will be 6-7 times in volume once it absorbs all water. If there is any extra water then strain with strainer and use.
(3) Boil enough water in small pot.
Once water boils add cut glass noodles and cook for 4-5 minutes only (OR cook as per package instruction). Strain noodle with strainer and deep strainer into bowl filled with cold water.

HOW TO LAYER FALOODA DRINK:
(1)Add 1 tsp. Rose Syrup
(2)Add some Soaked Basil Seeds
(3)Add some Saffron, Cardamom Rabdi/Basundi
(4)Add some boiled Glass Noodles
(5)Add some more Basil Seeds
(6)Place one scoop of Rose Ice cream, allow it to melt little bit
(7)Place one scoop of Vanilla Ice cream
(8)Top some boiled Glass Noodles on vanilla Ice cream
(9)Top some Soaked Basil Seeds

Grab a spoon and dig in…………..Enjoy…

NOTE:
For Rabdi/Basundi: Boil milk and reduce to 1/3 rd. volume from its original volume and add saffron, cardamom and sugar and use.
